Affiliated South China Hospital of Shenzhen University, won excellent results in the Seventh (2024) China
Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
On 30th October 2024, the 7th (2024) China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Medical Software and Digital Healthcare was successfully held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, which was jointly sponsored by the National Medical Device Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and Medical Device Innovation Network, and co-hosted by Shaoxing Medical Devices Innovation Service Centre and Shaoxing Hi-Tech Zone Investment and Development Group Co! Our company and the Affiliated South China Hospital of Shenzhen University jointly declared the project ‘Wound Intelligent Evaluation System’ in the competitionachieved excellent results, respectively, won the diagnostic and treatment equipment category race, the third prize of the nursing special race, medical software and digital medical category race winners.

China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is a national professional event with the largest number of entries, the best quality, the strongest degree of professionalism, the highest level of expert judges, the greatest influence in the industry, and the most outstanding results in China. The competition has strongly promoted the transformation of medical devices and has been well received by all parties. On 5 November 2024, in the list of top projects of Basic Research Special (Shenzhen Natural Science Foundation) for the year 2024 announced on the website of Shenzhen Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, the project of ‘R&D and Translation of Key Technology Development and Transformation of Intelligent Assessment of Stressful Injury Based on Visual AI’, which was jointly declared by our company and Affiliated South China Hospital of Shenzhen University, was successfully established!

The Shenzhen Natural Science Fund is a fund established by the Shenzhen Natural Science Fund Committee, which is directly under the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, to encourage innovation and development in natural science. The Wound Intelligent Evaluation System that we have declared this time, innovates the innovative wound
diagnosis and treatment mode: precise assessment of wounds + treatment recommendation + online
consultation + data management.
Using computer vision, image processing and artificial intelligence technologies in order to achieve automatic identification of wound type, wound size, base colour, temperature, assessment of the severity of the wound and other data, and to provide treatment recommendations and online consultation, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of medical services. It improves the quality and accessibility of medical services, medical training, and precision care services, solves the problems of uneven geographical medical resources and insufficient information sharing, and improves the level of primary care.
